Maui Moisture Revive & Hydrate Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner

So from my last post (if you've read it) you can see that I suffer with incredibly dry and damaged hair meaning I'm always on the look out for products to help rid my horrors.

One day walking through Boots on a promotional plinth these lovely hair products by Maui caught my eye. Admittedly these bottles are very hard to miss, they look so different There are a few different types of shampoo's and conditioner's ranging to help combat a number of issues:

  • Nourish and moisture Aloe vera juice, cocount water, cocont milk, Guava oil, mango butter
  • Moisture revive and hydrate containing Aloe Vera, coconunt water, shea butter, coconut oil and macadamia oil
  • Strength and anti breakage contaning: Aloe Vera water, coconut water,Agave, Hibiscus oil, pineapple extract
  • Thicken and restore containing: Aloe Vera Juice, Coconut water, bamboo fibres, caster oil,Neem oil

I've gone for the Moisture and hydrate which after just one use has worked wonders!

Whats great about this brand is that everything in their products are free of silicones, artificial colours and mineral oils, oh and vegan friendly - yay.

As mentioned I've only used this product for a week and my hair definitely feels less dry also ends up smelling great after every use. This is one to try especially if you're someone like me that hasn't been so kind to my own hair. My hair looks less dried out and doesn't look as if its feeling sorry for itself. I feel that it styles a lot easier too.

The shampoo lathers really well and you feel you're getting a good deep clean .
When it comes to the conditioner it mentions to leave it in for up to 5 minutes, I left it in a tad longer for an extra little treatment...why not!?

I picked it up at boots on a little offer so keep those eyes peeled otherwise it usually costs around £8.99 (A little steep, I know - but worth it for me)

Much love for the read x

Coconut Oil: Superdrug

Dry skin? Dry hair? On a budget? me too. I've come to be a huge Superdrug fan recently just due to some of their modern and affordable products.
My hair is hughlighted every 2/3 months or so and it doesnt do my hair any good. I've also always struggled with the 'perfect' soft locks, I'm just not that lucky. Thats where this lovely tub of coconut oil comes in. As you know hair oils are all the rage but for me its important that it's as natural and affordable as possible.

After melting a palm size amount I applied it to my dry hair and left it to soak in for a good 3 hours (bear in mind its up to you how long you want to leave it on for) I was a little worried that after washing it out I'd be left with that horrid greasy feeling but I didn't! Instead my hair felt less dry, don't get me wrong my hair wasn't no Kim Kardashian smooth (cause that's a million people running round after her lol) but it was an improvement. I cant recommend spending a few pennies well £2.49 for such a versatile product. Don't go spending over a tenner for something similar with the same ingredients you'll just get the same great results.

If you have dry skin apply a little of the oil to that too, I often have dry knees and this works wonders.

Yes, this was brief but boy it works!

Dont forget to share your stories if you've tried it too!
